Join renowned broadcaster Andrew Marr for this event at the festival as he talks about his new book, We British: The Poetry Of A People. The book explores British history and identity through poetry, from the medieval church, the court of Henry VIII, the Civil War and Restoration to the Industrial Revolution, the slave trade, the Victorian Empire, mass immigration and the two World Wars. It's history, but not like how you've read it before. Ticket includes entry into the Gardens.
